GEORGIA HOSTS PROJECT STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING

Joint Steering/Management Committee Meeting of the EU supported project “Biomass Energy & Energy Efficient Technologies as Sustainable Energy Solutions for Georgian CoM signatories”/BioEn4CoM Sign took place on October 16, 2019 at the Hotel Radisson Blue Iveria, Tbilisi, Georgia.

Members of SC from EU Delegation to Georgia, Telavi Municipality City Hall, Energy Efficiency Centre Georgia (EECG), CoM DeP Support Team, Covenant National Coordinators (MoEPA) along with representatives of Technical Design team participated in the meeting. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the progress achieved in the implementation of of BioEn4CoM Sign project and talk in detail on further steps for the achievement of the project objectives.

BioEn4CoM Sign project envisages full thermo-modernization of two public buildings with application of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies; construction of modern autonomous heating systems on biomass residues (vine tree prunings) and  public awareness activities with broad public involvement for the popularization of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies.
